Police said a man was hospitalized with critical injuries after being struck while trying to cross Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville late Saturday night. The victim, whose name wasn’t released, was wearing dark clothing as he crossed in the middle of the block in the 3300 block of Beach Boulevard shortly before midnight.
