Jacksonville police search for Riverside sexual battery suspect
Jacksonville police are seeking help from the public to identify and locate a sexual battery suspect in an April 3 attack that happened in an alley in the Riverside area. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office released a sketch of the suspect Sunday. Police described him as an African-American male in his late teens, about 5 feet, 5 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 125 pounds. A 12-year-old girl suffered a gunshot wound to the head early Sunday during a sleepover at a home in the city’s Lackawanna neighborhood, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said. Police said her injuries didn’t appear to be life-threatening.
