Jacksonville police investigate shooting death of man Friday night
Jacksonville police are investigating the death of an unidentified man late Friday in the 1700 block of Dot Street. The victim was found about 11 p.m. when Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department personnel went to the neighborhood after receiving a report that someone was shot. He subequently died from his injuries after being taken to the hospital, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
