    Philanthropists Wayne and Delores Barr Weaver have pledged a total of $1.4 million in gifts to two different Jacksonville projects — one a home-away-from-home for cancer patients and their caregivers planned for the Southside, the other a neighborhood-based employment and personal financial service center in the New Town community.
