    Jacksonville man shot multiple times in Westside robbery
    A Jacksonville man heading out for work Thursday morning was shot several times during a robbery on the city’s Westside, according to police. The victim, about 35 years old, told police one of the robbers got out of a newer-model four-door Dodge Charger with another man inside and attempted to rob him, then shot him at least four times. He was hospitalized but with wounds not considered life-threatening, police said. It happened about 5:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of Red Robin Drive.
